Why a Week Instead of a Day?

Luxury Accommodations

Sleep in comfort with 3 spacious cabins, each with en-suite facilities, air conditioning, and premium linens. Your floating boutique hotel.

Flexible Itinerary

Design your perfect week with the captain. Adjust plans daily based on weather, your mood, and discoveries along the way. Complete freedom.

Remote Anchorages

Access secluded bays unreachable by land. Wake up to calm waters and pristine nature, far from crowded marinas and tourist spots.

Culinary Experiences

Dine at authentic coastal restaurants, visit local markets for fresh ingredients, or arrange an onboard chef. Taste the true Mediterranean.

Multi-Country

Cross borders seamlessly. Experience Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy in one journey. Three countries, countless memories, one amazing voyage.

Expert Captain

Your captain knows every hidden gem, best restaurant, and perfect swimming spot. Local expertise ensuring an authentic, safe experience.

One Possible Week, Many Possible Routes

This is one way to spend a week on NYX — a suggestion, not a schedule. The real itinerary shifts with the wind, your mood, and whatever bay looks too good to pass up.

01

Saturday

Izola → Rovinj

25 nm · 2.5 hours

Embarkation & Croatian Istria

Coffee on the dock at Marina Izola, then cast off toward Rovinj. The first stretch of the journey is the best — everything still new, the week stretching out ahead like open water. Arrive in the old harbour, wander cobblestone streets lit by gas lamps, and eat grilled fish with your feet almost in the sea.

Hidden Bays & Swimming

Slow morning. The engines start when you're ready. Cruise into Lim Fjord or one of the bays south of Rovinj — anchor in water so clear the shadow of the boat looks painted on. Paddleboard, snorkel, nap on deck. At anchor overnight with nothing but stars above and water below.

Swimming Snorkeling Relaxation
03

Monday

Rovinj → Pula

20 nm · 2 hours

Roman Heritage

Sail south into Pula, past the colossal Roman amphitheatre rising from the waterfront. Land and walk through two thousand years of history — the arena, the Arch of the Sergii, the Temple of Augustus all within a few blocks. Evening in the harbour where local bars spill into the square.

History Culture Sightseeing
04

Tuesday

Pula → Medulin

5 nm · 30 min

Beach Paradise

A short hop to Medulin, then into the Kamenjak Peninsula — the wild edge of Istria. Turquoise bays, limestone cliffs, water so vivid it feels edited. Jump from rocks, grill fresh seafood on deck, and watch the sky turn orange with nowhere else to be.

Adventure Nature Swimming
05

Wednesday

Medulin → Poreč

30 nm · 3 hours

UNESCO Heritage

North to Poreč, a town built around its UNESCO-listed Euphrasian Basilica. Stand beneath 6th century Byzantine mosaics that still hold their gold, then wander the old town — café under arches, waterfront promenade, optional wine tasting in the Istrian hills.

UNESCO Site Wine Tasting Shopping
06

Thursday

Poreč → Umag

15 nm · 1.5 hours

Northern Istria

Further north still, into quiet coves between Poreč and Umag. Stop in Novigrad for a glass of Malvazija at a waterfront bar, then settle into Umag for the final feast — truffle pasta, fresh langoustines, and Istrian wines at a table where the conversation runs late.

Gastronomy Villages Relaxation
07

Friday

Umag → Izola

10 nm · 1 hour

Return & Disembarkation

Last morning on deck. One more swim at a quiet bay, then the short cruise home to Izola. Disembark by afternoon with the strange realization that you've lived on the water for a week — and it felt more natural than life on land ever did.

Disembarkation Final Swim Return

Fully Customizable

This is just one example itinerary. We can design your perfect week based on your interests: more swimming, more sightseeing, visiting specific towns, focusing on cuisine, or maximizing relaxation. Some guests prefer to spend multiple nights in one location, others like to explore new bays daily.

Alternative routes can include the Gulf of Trieste, Italian coast (Grado, Lignano), or deeper into Croatian Istria depending on weather and your preferences.

Where You'll Sleep

Three cabins, each with its own bathroom, all finished to a standard that makes going home feel like a downgrade. For up to 6 guests who appreciate a door they can close and air conditioning that works.

The Adriatic, Beyond the Brochure

These are the places that show up in the photos and the ones that don't — the bays, towns, and tables that make a week on the Adriatic worth writing home about.

Bay of Kotor: Europe's Southernmost Fjord

The Bay of Kotor is one of the Mediterranean's most dramatic landscapes — a UNESCO World Heritage Site where towering mountains plunge directly into deep blue waters. The medieval Old Town of Kotor is a labyrinth of narrow cobblestone streets, Venetian palaces, and ancient churches, all enclosed within massive fortification walls that snake up the mountainside.

Climb the 1,350 steps to the fortress of San Giovanni for breathtaking panoramic views over the bay. This is where raw natural beauty meets centuries of maritime history — a destination that feels more Norwegian than Adriatic, creating one of the most spectacular stops on any yacht charter.

Pelegrini: Croatia's Culinary Crown Jewel

Located in the shadow of Šibenik's UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St. James, Pelegrini is Croatia's culinary crown jewel. Chef Rudolf Štefan has earned his Michelin star by masterfully elevating traditional Dalmatian cuisine into contemporary fine dining art.

The restaurant's philosophy centers on "zero-kilometer" sourcing — ingredients from local fishermen, farmers, and foragers, transformed into innovative dishes that tell the story of Šibenik's rich culinary heritage. Dine on the terrace overlooking the cathedral square, where medieval architecture provides an unforgettable backdrop to one of the Adriatic's most exceptional gastronomic experiences.

Zori: Where Time Stands Still in Palmižana

Nestled in the pine forests of Palmižana on the Pakleni Islands, Zori Timeless Restaurant offers an intimate escape where nature, design, and gastronomy converge in perfect harmony. Chef Vicko Bilić's menu celebrates the purest flavors of the Adriatic — ultra-fresh fish, locally foraged herbs, and seasonal ingredients transformed into dishes that honor tradition while embracing modern techniques.

Dine under the stars on the candlelit terrace, surrounded by fragrant Mediterranean gardens and the gentle sound of waves. The sunset timing is deliberate — watch the sky turn gold and pink over the Adriatic as you experience culinary perfection. This is a moment that will linger in your memory long after the journey ends.

Croatian Istria

Rovinj: The Pearl of Istria

Rovinj is arguably the most romantic town on the entire Adriatic coast. This former fishing village has transformed into a sophisticated destination while preserving its authentic charm. Colorful houses cascade down the hillside to the waterfront, crowned by the baroque Church of St. Euphemia whose bell tower dominates the skyline.

Wander through narrow cobblestone streets filled with art galleries, boutique shops, and traditional konobas. The old town sits on a peninsula surrounded by crystal-clear waters and the nearby Zlatni Rt forest park offers scenic walking trails. As sunset paints the sky in shades of gold and pink, Rovinj reveals why it's called "the pearl of Istria" — a destination that captivates artists, romantics, and sailors alike.

Beyond the glass barrier, the Ionian Sea sparkles under a clear blue sky, framed by hills and coastal buildings. Cap Aureo: Istrian Elegance with a Michelin Star

Located in the luxurious Grand Park Hotel Rovinj, Cap Aureo Signature Restaurant is the crown jewel of Istrian fine dining. Chef Tomislav Gretić has earned his Michelin star by creating innovative dishes that showcase the extraordinary bounty of Istria — truffles, fresh Adriatic seafood, premium olive oils, and exceptional local wines.

Floor-to-ceiling windows frame picture-perfect views of Rovinj's colorful old town and the sparkling Adriatic Sea. The experience combines cutting-edge gastronomy with the timeless beauty of one of Croatia's most romantic settings — where local ingredients become legendary creations and every dish tells the story of Istria's rich heritage.
